I'm just not willing anymore to wear the super revealing standard bathing suit bottoms which are not in any way flattering or comfortable. So I was looking for a pair of swim shorts and these fit the bill. Love them! They fit well (as expected), are comfortable and seem high quality. Would purchase again.

I bought these shorts because they looked identical to a pair that I already had and purchased from here (LL Bean) but they are vastly different in fit, style and feel. I could not find the style # of those that I already had. The side pockets with the elastic in the back of the shorts makes them stick out very unattractively for my body shape. The other shorts I have are more flattering and fit perfectly. These make me feel frumpy. Sadly, I may be returning them.

I usually buy a 16, but based on the size chart, I bought 16 and 18. Couldn’t believe how big they were. So I bought 12 and 14. Both were still too big, but the 12 is closer. I’d really like a 10, gasp surely not an 8, but no time left before I head to the beach. Very disappointed. I’ll have to be careful a wave doesn’t take them off.

I love the shorts so much I Gave #5. BUT, only wish they had a liner inside as in a bathing suit bottom. I looked at others and these shorts I felt comfortable in and I forgive it, but I will look into getting a black mid waist suit bottom in place of my underwear. The pockets are good to have, including the zip back one! Nice & light.

I’m 5″8, 185 lbs, not fit. I carry my weight in the thighs, butt, and waist, in that order. I ordered a size 14 and it fits great. The elastic waistband is very forgiving and comfortable to wear for hours. I could have probably gone down a size in the waist, but the 14 is perfect to accommodate my thighs and not have the side pockets pouch out. Wish I had these shorts 10 years ago!

I like the shorts. They fit good and the fabric is light for summer. Only issues is if you wear as a bathing suit bottom, there is no liner so your going commando. I wear now as shorts.
