- Lace closure with six D-Rings, gusseted tongue, and pull tab at back.
- Seam-sealed waterproof construction with the L.L.Bean proprietary TEK2.5® waterproof system.

Love these – they’ve kept me warm and dry in upstate-NY winter and snow. I’d about given up finding a pair to fit my wide foot and not-skinny calf (wide-calf boots were too big). These fit great and adjust to be just right over the calf. Usually a 9.5W, the 10 fit just right with boot socks.

Almost kept. These appear to be quality boots. The tongue is gusseted most of the way up like snow boots should be. The only problem is that there are no half-sizes. LL Bean states to go down a half-size, but neither worked. Going up a half-size worked much better with another boot by Propet. By the way, I emailed LL Bean to see if their products would still be under their guarantee if purchased via Zappos and the reply stated yes! Although they didn’t quite work for me, I would still highly recommend these boots.

Loved the look of these boots and the height, but the seam where the upper connected to the rubber rubbed on the top of my foot, mostly on my right foot, which has higher instep. I wish I could have kept them, but it seemed like it would hurt over time. Also, these don’t have much padding in the footbed, so they felt hard on the bottom.

I love them. I have big calves and nothing ever fits and these fit like a glove. I also wear them for work- i work outside and am on my feet for hours at a time- and they are wonderful. I’d suggest them to anyone- well worth the investment! Oh and I wore them to a brewery after work and I thought they looked super cute.

I wear a 7.5 shoe so I ordered this boot in a size 7 and 8. No surprise, the 8 was huge and the 7 too small. Oh how I wish LL Bean would make their shoes in half sizes! A 7.5 would have no doubt fit perfectly. Had to return both boots because LL Bean doesn’t comprehend half sizes!

Fit is true to size, and while the color and the waterproof upper is more functional than attractive, the blue piping and fur lining that extends above the top of the boot makes it look more stylish. What really sold me was the comfort and the warmth – my feet are ALWAYS cold but when I wear these boots my feet are the warmest part of my body.

I’m picky about my boots and send many back before I keep a pair. These boots are amazing. I use them for snow shoeing, hiking on snow-packed trails and just running errands. My feet always stay warm, the height is perfect and they are comfortable and look just fab.

I wore these up on the Mountain, first time wearing them, thought I was going to snowshoe but ended up hiking instead. The boots were amazing! So comfortable, warm, light, supportive and had GREAT traction! Honestly I was shocked I didn’t get a blister!! Would highly recommend these boots!

My sturdy Kombu snow boots bit the dust after Christmas and i needed a replacement fast! Got over 2’ of snow just after receiving these and they were put to the test! True size 9 and fit feels great. Easy to snug down the fit with with laces. Toe box has room for thick socks, but i never even needed them! Thin socks and even one foray sans socks and still toasty! So far feet have been warm and dry even in the wettest conditions. Boots are tall and stylish. Also, for anyone with a bad back – these do not weigh as much as similar options – shoveling is enough of a stress on the back, I am loving these lighter boots!
