Fit and functional, with room to grow. the expandable waistband means that we might get two years out of these quality snow pants. I got them on sale and they were a real bargain.

Bought for my 5years/38lbs/40.5inches, ordered little kids' 5/6 but the length of pants were too long, like dragging on the floor with boots on, so I got it returned. At store, she tried size 4 and it fits very well, so bought one size down. Nice quality and workmanship, recommend!

We have tried on many pairs and brands of snow pants over the years, and we always come back to LL Bean for the best quality and sizing. These have already comfortably brought us alpine skiing in NH, cross country skiing in Maine and sledding at home. The fit is perfect – not too snug that they would restrict movement and warm without the bulk (unlike other brands). Highly recommended.

I bought this for my 9 year old son. We went to Alaska during April where the daily temperature was between 20 to -20 degree F. My son wore a thermal under these snow pants and he was very comfortable playing in the snow. Good fit, quality material, great insulation. Highly recommended.

Long lasting. Knees always survive the winters and I’m able to get 2 yrs of wear time. Sizing generous. I have gone back and forth between bean and another well know brand. Bean seems to have a better pattern for the knee area.

I also love that they have “tougher” fabric on the knee’s and behind and we were able to buy a size bigger because of the adjustable waist.
