I generally wear medium width shoes but these were too wide for me.

I’ve always enjoyed my shoes from LL Bean. They’re comfortable and they hold up well. I usually get three years of dependable service.

These shoes are made for a flat-footed duck or something. There is no depth to the forefoot, and no way to adjust without slitting the canvas. Don’t buy these if you have three dimensional feet. If the tongue and laces extended further forward, like a basketball shoe, they would give. But the manmade polyester material will never stretch. What a shame. An otherwise wonderful, soft, minimalist, functional boot.
