I am in love with this jacket. It's very warm and lightweight, but my favorite part is the length. It's seems a couple inches longer than similar jackets. That little extra length makes it more flattering, and makes it much warmer than shorter jackets. I purchased the Carbon Navy color and really like how the contrasting zipper 'pops'.

I love down because it is comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. I find I go from hot to cold and back with other fabrics and coat fillings. this is the best jacket ever. so light weight. barely realize it is on. love the hood!! easy to pull on and off fast. love the pockets. I have already ordered a spare. the size is normal for llbean. I feel llbean runs a little big. if this was a different brand I would say it fit like an xlarge.

I thought from the description that I had bought a solid winter hooded jacket. Sizing up was a good thing because I certainly need layers under it to keep me warm below 10 degree above zero. I could feel the cold right through the sleeves (maybe it's not really windproof?). Other than that, I really like the comfort, the hood and the features of the jacket. It's a keeper even though I must layer when the weather is cold.

I love this down jacket- it has great lines, is lightweight and warm. I like its hood because it isn’t bulky and fits nicely over a warm stocking cap. I picked the blue color and am especially pleased with the contrasting zipper color. The sleeves are long, yet snug at the wrist.

Super lightweight! Based on other reviews I ordered it in small, but it was HUGE! I normally wear a small (I’m 5’4). I’m exchanging it for an XS.

I took a chance on this coat. I walk my dog in all sorts of New England weather and I wasn’t sure this lightweight pink coat would be up to the task. But, I love it, I love it, I love it! I wear it all day, out with the dog, getting in and out of the car and doing errands and it is just great. It is a lovely pink!

First of all this is very warm on a 30degree morning walk. I love the angled stitching so it is more slimming for a puffy jacket. The color is gorgeous and the hood fits great. I got my normal size 2X , and I wish it was slightly more close fitting like my other ll bean jacket. VERY lightweight which I love! Sleeve length is perfect. For those who might wonder I’m 5-4 and 200 pounds. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a very warm, light weight down jacket, perfect for layering when doing active outdoor activities in central NY winters. I was comfortable in the mid 20’s wearing it over a good thick sweater. Highly wind resistant . I am 5 ft 6″, 140lbs. I chose a large over my normal medium to allow for layering and because the sleeves on the medium were a bit tight. A good value overall. Very pleased.

Please bring back the old sizing on this jacket. The petite large is too big and the petite medium is too small. I have been buying LL Bean coats and jackets for many years and always ordered the petite large which fit me perfectly until now.

Exactly right..fit, style,color great. Replacing same jacket 8 years later, different color. Worn every cool/cold day through 3 years of college in New England, then as winter coat for 5 years after…old one just recently got a couple of puncture holes (we think the kittie was kneading) that need some super glue to keep down inside. Hesitant to wash and dry as a result, so sprung for a new one.

This jacket gos everywhere with me: evenings out; to the grocery store; hiking with my labrador retriever at daybreak; and to church! It is surprisingly warm, for its light weight, perfect fit and stylishness! No, it does not have the abrasion resistance and storage capacity of my Baxter State Parka, but it does have pockets inside and out. For most occasions, this jacket is all the protection I need.

I couldn’t keep it although it is gorgeous. The hood is such a nice addition. It fit my shoulders but was so tight across the chest that I couldn’t consider keeping it. My husband’s reaction said it all, LOL. Although I did think about trying the next size up, the whole point of this jacket is for it to be sleek as well as warm. This style is not appropriate for my body type.
