Bought this for my son to stay warm and dry during an overnight scout camp out. His only feedback was that his ears was warm, so I’ll take that as a win!
I liked the water resistant qualities and thumb holes.

My daughter lost her other L.L. Bean rain jacket at school this year that was sort of the “standard model”. We bought this one on our way to hike in the White Mountains and we’re very pleased with the purchase. She loves it and it appears to be a high-quality, legitimate outdoor wear for a kid. It kept her dry and broke the wind on a rainy and blustery day at high elevation.

This looks like a great raincoat but I’ve only given it 4 stars because we haven’t used it in the rain yet. The fabric is really, really thin so I’m skeptical, but I will update once it gets used. I do like how the hood comes out from the face a lot. I wish LL Beam would figure out that a raincoat should keep your face dry too. Their hoods are usually so shallow. If you have long hair, it’s awful!

This is a great rain jacket and I love the reflectors on it. But it is very expensive. I am not sure it is worth the value.
