I previously had a LLBean trail model rain jacket for 30+ years. I loved the jacket for on/off rainy days. My trusty jacket had reached end of life with inner panels shredding. Still a good rain jacket but not stylish with shreds falling off the inner panels. So I finally decided to buy a replacement as close to the original as I could find. This coat is a perfect match with an added stylish darker blue panel. This jacket looks great and has everything my old lovable jacket had. Happiness is having my New Trail Model Rain Jacket, Colorblock.

I got this raincoat for my son in the olive and blue colorblock. He loves it! It's perfect for fishing and camping–lightweight, waterproof, and packs well.

I was looking for a rain jacket that was light and easy to carry around. This one fit the bill perfectly! My favorite feature has got to be the ability to stuff into one pocket and create a carrying pouch of sorts. It held up great in a light drizzle as well as a downpour. Definitely recommend!

I’ve worn my Bean Train Model rain jacket in downpours in Spain, Paris, Ireland, and Cape Cod–and remained as dry as the desert. I bought mine in extra large so that I can layer it with my Bean Sweater Fleece when the icy rains hits Massachusetts. It’s light, breathable, and colorful. It’s perfect.

I bought this jacket about a month ago to replace an old Under Armor rain jacket that was disintegrating from the inside out. The build quality is better than the Under Armor jacket with sturdy zippers, improved waterproofing around the pockets, and a better fitting hood. I’ve been wearing it almost every day on my walking commute through Boston, and it’s kept me nicely dry through snow, sleet, and rain. I’m 6′ 1” and bought a large, and the jacket’s roomy enough for me to easily fit a sweatshirt underneath on colder days but not so big that it feels ungainly over just a shirt on the warmer ones. I’m really happy with the purchase, it’s a big upgrade for me.
