I recently bought an LL Bean Winter Warmer Coat, to be worn as my raincoat, for playing fetch with my dog, when it rains. It was not as warm as I’d have liked, so I received this vest to wear under the coat, to keep my core warmer, and to wear inside, as our house gets chilly in the winter.
This is a superior piece of outerwear. I got the green two-tone vest. It is very well made. All the snaps and zippers and fasteners are first class. It looks great, and feels great. Nice and warm. A little puffy, but then it is a down vest. Pricier than other vendors, but worth the premium price. I love the difference in textures if the two materials. Now I’m considering getting the two tone down jacket as well.
