Great quality. Really long, which I love – like a jacket minus the sleeves. LOVE the deep zippered pockets. I hadn’t read the description carefully enough to know that the lining is not fleece, but it still feels plenty warm. Nice flattering cut in back. I will be wearing this a lot.

Not true to size. I wear XL and bought 1X to layer. Wasn’t able to zip it by about 2 inches. Otherwise beautiful, thick, nice and long.

It would have to be cold out to wear it but then my arms would freeze. To warm for inside.

When a jacket is too much and a sweater isn’t quite a enough, this is perfect. Deep pockets, long enough in the back to keep your backside warm.

Material and color is lovely, but proportion is all wrong. Too long in back for shape of the rest of garment. I was able to fix, but if you don’t sew don’t order..disappointed.

I love this vest. Love the length, the way it is finished, the two way zipper and the fact that the collar, though tall, will fold down if I want, and pockets are so roomy. You can actually put your phone in and not have it stick out. After reading the reviews I decided to order the medium petite so I can wear a sweater under and settled on the black. Also, the curve-ups on the sides are cool. Have had many compliments.

I love this vest. The pockets are generous; the longer length keeps the waist and hips warm. Note: the fit is snug and consequently quite warm. I tried both Regular and Large and decided, for my purposes, snugness was more desirable than roominess.

This vest runs large. I was swimming in my usual size Small, so went to the Bean store and tried the XS, which fit perfectly. The exchange was easy. It’s quite long, which makes it extra warm, and a light long-sleeved turtleneck underneath is perfect. I have it in both black and vintage blue (a lovely color, especially with jeans.)

Love it! Should have bought it sooner. The length is so nice for wear with leggings (for keeping your bum warm), but it’s great with jeans too. It’s a heavier weight than my regular LL Bean fleece vest, but it fits TTS. Both are medium.

I thought I wanted the longer jacket version of this vest but it just didn’t feel right to me. I tried the vest in a size medium because a large wasn’t available in store and it felt and looked amazing. It was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a large so I could layer under it and wear it all the time! Minnesota can be vey unpredictable in fall//spring and it has worked great for the cold spring we are having!

I bought this at the end of winter so haven’t worn it yet. It’s a bit heavier than I had expected but the fit is good and the length is the reason I chose it. I did remove the big LL Bean tag that is prominently placed on the chest. I’m very fond of LL Bean but it really detracted from the look of the vest. I look forward to wearing it often next winter.

I generally wear an XL (or L if relaxed sized) in all LL Bean shirts, jackets, and vests, with plenty of room to layer. This long vest was too snug for anything beyond a thin tee shirt to go over. Also, I have a really long neck and the neck/collar was too long to zip up fully. I bought the black vest (if that makes any difference in the sizing). Back it goes.

all is satisfactory except for the lower half of lining–it’s not soft like the upper half and it is noisy when the wearer moves. Rustling sound.
