This is an excellent wind-blocking jacket. Very comfortable and fits great. Easy to wear alone or layer under a traditional coat or jacket. Can’t go wrong with this one. Many fleeces allow the wind to cruise right through, making them very ineffective for warmth on a blustery day. The wind stops here!

Found this to replace a similar one my hubby had worn out. This one is gleece outside but a windbreaker lining. Generous pockets.

Very comfortable fleece, easy to pull on over a sweatshirt or other layers for colder days. On its own, the fleece is lightweight and not very thick; but it definitely blocks the wind quite well. This Mountain Classic Windproof Quarter Zip Fleece has quickly become one of my favorite L.L. Bean items to wear day in and day out.

Actually I returned the 1/4 zip and bought the full zip in Large. I love the color. The 1/4 zip was a little tight pulling it over my head with only a golf shirt on. The size was right, but layering this pullover would be harder. The wind proofing make it a little heavier, more like a light/medium jacket which is fine. It’s not cold yet I’ve SE Virginia but it would be great under a shell.

Nice weight and love the upper pocket for cell phone or sunglasses. Not thrilled with pouch and the sleeve bottoms are flimsy. No strap or even Velcro closure, just cheap elastic. Not worth the money to me. I will be returning it

It really is windproof. Very warm, but not bulky. The drawstrings at the waist are a great idea. I recommend this fleece 100%.
