I don't agree with the rave reviews this puffer has received so far. I found the fabric of this shirt/jacket to be hot and a major static generator. The short sleeves stuck out in an unattractive manner. Also, the snaps were so hard to pull apart I was afraid I was going to damage the garment. Item has been returned.

Great little “jacket” for someone who is always on the cold side. Wear inside the house almost all the time. No long sleeves to get in the way. Love it. Went by my measurements on the size charts and fits great. Washes up nicely also. Have 2 colors. Ordered medium. 5’2″ 130lbs.

So I don’t typically shop at LL Bean but this item has really nice structure. I wear this, buttons undone, to work with a black fitted turtle neck and slacks or leggings. It’s a great winter layering piece and in my opinion can be dressed up or down.

I bought it for my sister who wants a half sleeve down jacket for wearing it around the house while she does housework and her favorite hobby of painting. This is the perfect style though I wish the sleeves were a little longer like a true half sleeve. I ordered an XS for her and it is a bit loose but for her purpose of wearing it over a sweater or thick t shirt is perfect. If you like it fit tightly then you may want to order one size smaller. My sister is 5′ and about 100 lb.

The LLBean “Puffer is like a warm hug. Light as air and ordered a size larger than usual, my Puffer is perfect for slipping on over winter t-neck and vest to keep shoulders warm while doing desk work or reading in winter. The Puffer has replaced an old jacket liner and it looks a lot nicer!

I work in a store that’s in a converted barn built in the 1800’s. I also need to walk between outbuildings. This jacket gives just enough warmth outside & isn’t too hot inside. Looks more professional than a vest & isn’t bulky.

The minute I slipped into this jacket I knew it would become a favorite. It is light and cozy and warm, it was not even a cool day when it arrived and I put it on but I loved it. Told my neighbor about it also so she could get her own. the puffer is a little shorter than I had hoped but not enough to send back. As the review mentioned it works for both indoors and out.

I have not worn it yet because it’s August but know I will wear it a lot. It is very soft, not bulky and will be warm. It fits well and will look good with a long sleeved tee shirt, a sweatshirt or sweater.

I bought this for late fall and winter weather and have not worn it as yet. I initially bought the size small and returned it for a medium wanting a bit more room so I could occasionally wear a bulky turtleneck under it. Comfortable fit and loden color should go w/ many tops. The puffer is not “noisy” when you move about.
