I purchased these for my grandson who likes to be outdoors all year long. I am confident that they will perform as promised and will be good enough to pass down to his little brother. We love LLB for children’s active wear.
OHIOPATRON –
I LOVED THESE SO MUCH, THIS IS MY GRANDSONS SECOND PAIR. THEY ARE WARM, COME WITH TWO DIFFERENT LINERS AND THEY ARE SO EASY TO PUT ON.

These boots are amazing. I bought them in Toddler Size 7 for my 2 year old. Quality construction, good looking and warm plus they came with extra liners. My favorite feature is the boot’s design which make them easy for my son or me to put on. Last year he had the snow treads boots which we always struggled to get on and my son never seemed comfortable wearing.
L11w –
got these boots in size 5 for my 1.5 yo son. the quality is amazing, and they were easy to get on and off.

These boots are TOUGH! Got these for our 17 month old in a size 7. It’s a little large now, but I know his feet will be toasty warm this winter and next! He can easily walk in them and the quality is top notch! Bonus: comes with an extra pair of inserts! Great snow boots!!!

These boots are very easy to get on and off, which is good because my kid does not stay still at all. They kept his feet completely dry and warm. I love that they come with an extra bootie for the inside part so I can wash if needed.

Our preschool teacher suggested I not get winter boots with liners because of her own childhood and cold feet. I had been buying another brand with liners because my other children stayed warm in liner boots. Last winter I decided to try L.L.Bean's Northwoods boots for my 4 year old. They were the right size and height (6 7/8") for our snowy, snowy, cold climate. However, the tongue part of the boot easily lets snow in whether my child is on the playground or in our yard. Maybe my child's feet would have been warm enough, especially with an extra liner provided to change into in case the first pair gets wet, but snow makes one's feet cold and wet quickly! With a little redesigning these could possibly be good boots. This winter I will heed the advice and seek out a different style boot.

GREAT BOOTS AND THE EXTRA PAIR OF LINERS IS A NICE BONUS

Great boots! My 2.5 year old has been wearing them since December… outside in the snow, ice fishing, the grocery store, etc. The extra set of liners is great to have. Easy on/off. Her feet are warm after 3 hours in 30 degree weather with lots of snow! Will continue to purchase as she grows.

Bought for 18 month old who can put his own boots on and take them off. I really liked that they stayed on and didn't fall off. I liked the yellow color because they were easy to find when laying in the house. Used for snow and our temperatures can get below 30 degrees. I also really liked that they came with an extra liner insert. Size good, maybe little wide.

Bought size 9 which is my daughter’s size in target brand, stride rite, Crocs and sketchers. These were too short and too narrow for her. Sized up to kids size 10 and they are at least a size too big.
Beanoutsider1 –
These are warm, durable, cute, and easy on/off. I'd order a size up because the liner does add a bit of bulk (and you might want room for a toe warming pack).

Quality and comfortable fit for a Little person
she loves the Boots…Ty LLBean
GrandmaJennie –
Nice quality and 3 yr old grandson and mom and dad loves his new boots!
Amelia –
I returned the boot for it was too big. Loved the boot, though.
MommaSnowBear –
In our experience this is the best snow boot for toddlers! The boot is exceptionally easy to get on and off, our two year old was able to do it all by herself. The boots come with two pairs of liners so if they get wet while playing outside, no worries just get the dry pair and you are good to go! We did size up one size as the liners are a bit snug on the foot, and it's so hard to tell when growth spurts of a toddler will happen. We wanted to make sure the boots would last through the long northeast winter.
AmandaM –
I really like these boots however, the inserts do not go into the boot easily. I've struggled trying to get my son's foot into these boots with the inserts so I'll be returning. They do seem to run a tad bit small as well.
Gmom –
These boots are perfect for my 2 year old Granddaughter. She loves to be outside "hiking" in the woods with her mom, dad, and 2 dogs and I know these boots will keep her feet toasty warm and dry. Grateful for the second set of inserts. And, she loves them! She wants to wear them all the time!

I bought these for my niece (2 years old) last year, and she lived in them! All year long!
She is able to put them on herself, and off she goes! We have pictures of her wearing them in the winter in the snow, and in the summer in her bathing suit. I am buying my nephews their first pairs now, and a new pair for my niece. Yes, they are heavy and clunky at first, but lighter boots cited snow buildup on the bottom as a problem, so I selected these instead. Once she figured them out they were her favorites!
Obnancy –
I had bought these boots a couple years ago for my grandson. They are easy for him to put on and are supposed to be waterproof (at the least the bottoms). They were passed on to his little brother so he needed a new bigger pair. I decided to get the same boot. Last snow storm they both went out to play with their LLBean boots on. Imagine my dismay when their mother told me both kids had soaking wet feet from playing in the snow. Maybe the snow was too high this time? They are supposed to be water resistant and the bottoms water proof. I will try a water proof spray on them to see if that helps. They are cute boots, still easy for them to put on, but not being water proof is a real downer.

Warm well manufactured boots for outdoor winter play
Arielle L –
Sturdy, easy to put on. My toddler is always begging to wear them, so they must be comfortable
Erica –
Great fit. Easy to get on and off. And my toddler seems comfortable, warm and dry in them.
Annoyed B –
They sent spam asking me to review this. Boots are fine, spamming me is not.
Grandma –
The inserts in these small boots make them uncomfortably. They scrunch up and are bumpy. Perhaps a lined version would be more appropriate for these small boots.
